2019 post: zta is overrated

Can someone explain why KD’s class is so bad? I keep seeing this but nobody says anything as to why aside from the snap bids thing which sounds like it isn’t true? I’m not defending or attacking them, but I would appreciate some reasoning.

I thought they were mostly cute, but insiders just know they missed on a ton of targets and ended up short in the end.

They cut too many in the early rounds and then after pref a lot of their top girls they expected to bid went XO, DDD and AGD. This left them not meeting quota and getting a lot of girls off their second, third and beyond bid lists.

XO and AGD got lots of KD tops. Tri Delt didn’t get many tops at all. Mediocre throughout, but not risky.
Alpha Chi, Chi O and Alpha Gam all did really well. Phi Mu was less cute than usual, supposedly smarter. Kappa had more QRs in state that other houses dropped, but bumped up the looks factor a bit. KD.... it’s above.

I am so weak. What pitiful returns to need three or even four lists to get a PC. That is less than one out of four, so with two pref parties, they were shooting like a .125 success rate. Wow. No wonder they are spitting nails at the mountain brook piggly wiggly

One more PC like this and XO and AGD will be the best of the best with AXO. More and more smart and involved girls are choosing AL and all three along with DDD have done excellent the past 2 PCs.

DDD had two PCs in a row of QRs with 17 and 18 though lol this pc has a better rep. There were girls in those two that even houses like Kappa and KD which are more lenient with that stuff (as seen this year) dropped. Alpha Chi did better than last year for sure.

KD not only missed the mark with their typical targets but they let go so many of the best out of region girls so early. They are recruiting in the past instead of for the current group on campus. They really missed the mark and this just adds to their irrelevance on campus over the past three years or so.

It’s official — KD is now bottom of Old Row. The new AGD, but still more socially relevant (the Old Row ZETA). .
