wwyd- i hate my new house

Thank you to all that posted honestly. I should have worded my question better. I AM a true new NM and didn’t name my sorority because I didn’t feel it was their fault that I didn’t connect. I appreciate those who got what I was saying. I haven’t had a chance to bond with anyone (yes, I’m sure there is someone for everyone in the 400 girls). My roommate got into the sorority I wanted and is having the time of her life. I realize that I need to persevere and keep putting myself out there and embrace my new house.

Those that were nasty, take the time to actually be helpful once in a while. Not everyone comes to troll or boost their own house. I am sorry you are so miserable in your own life that you have to try to make others miserable in their own.

Look through your heart and make sure that you don't just envy your roommate because she got a "higher ranked" house than you did. Sometimes feelings of jealousy can be insidious. Then realize that your roommate may have some of the same feelings and either be kinda scared to mention them or is making the best of the situation. You never know how someone else really feels inside. She may tell you she's over the moon but still have the same doubts you do.
