by: CobI overheard two girls saying that they were reaching out to sororitys about COB? Does this look bad? I am doing COB as well but I don’t wanna do anything that will mess up my chances

Talk to everyone. If you are feeling it with one group, go for it. Don’t look back. Don’t keep your head on a swivel. Do you. If nothing clicks this fall on COB, then consider any options that come up in the spring. Several strong houses that have lots of OOS (and thus a little more attrition) do spring Cob on a low key basis. If nothing clicks then, just go through recruitment as a second year in the fall 2020 rush.

How do you recommend we reach out to them? It definitely feels a bit awkward reaching out to them first just by the nature of it so I don’t wanna screw anything up! I’ve had two houses reach out to me first but there’s another I want to get in contact with as I think I’d be a good fit with. Not op just also in the same boat thanks guys!

Make sure you get extra recs! would not hurt and would be an easy way of introducing yourself again and getting you on the radar.

chapters that are eligible for fall 2019 COB are APhi, DZ, GPB, SK and SDT as well as ADChi

It’s very weird that they list alpha delta chi as being available for COB given that they’re not a Panhellenic sorority

Only houses under chapter total can COB. Even if KD didn’t make quota they have great retention, therefore not allowed to COB

Girls looking to do better in Cob than they were going to be able to do in recruitment usually need to wait until spring Cob or just do it again next year after they know more people in houses and maybe got their grades going pretty well.

I don't know what "better" means, but the only 2 houses besides those who are doing COB right now, that did COB last spring, were Theta that took 1 and Zeta that took 6.
