How does suiciding for one house lower your chances of getting the house that you're suiciding for?

It doesn't have any effect on getting that bid, and the computer will not kick out your card. But you have just placed yourself in an ALL or Nothing scenario. If you get a bid from them you are gold, but if you don't you are sunk.So the question you need to think about is "If I don't get a bid from X sorority would I rather just not be Greek at all?"

If you SIP (suicide) you are not eligible for quota addition. QA kicks in when you maximize your options and both houses make quota. You have to go somewhere so you get your #1.

What if you maximize your options, your #1 makes quota, #2 does not....do you go to #2?
