kappa transfer student?
by: transferI'm currently a Kappa at a university in California. I may need to transfer because of money issues but I really want to transfer to a school with a Kappa chapter that I would be able to affiliate with... Alabama seems really strict with rush and greek life in general so I was wondering if chapters allow affiliate members at all? Thanks!! If it helps Kappa is top at my school, I hold a position on exec, and I have a 4.0 GPA

Contact the chapter president directly, but definitely give it a week or two. Bid Day is this Saturday, so they're really wrapped up right now. Hopefully, you'll be able to affiliate no problem, but the president should be able to tell you the process, or direct you to who works with that. Good luck!

I'm paying $60,000 per year in out of state tuition, $13,000 per year in rent, and for travel $400 per plane ticket currently to go to school in California.... I'm from the east coast. So yes finances would be my reason for transferring
