Once you can retain a majority of your pledge class for longer than a year, then you’ll be a tippy top house.
Once you raise your overall chapter GPA so you aren’t in the bottom half, then you’ll be a tippy top house.
You have to have consistent and concise quality for a number of years in order to move up the ranks. You pulled a great pledge class. Good for you, but will a majority of them still be active by this time next year? Your retention rates tell us otherwise! Work on your gpa and retention rate before you get on here and start talking the talk because you aren’t walking the walk!!

Thank you! I’m not taking anything away from this PC. It was great, less QRs than usual, very pretty. Good job Zeta. That being said, other houses have years and years history of having higher quality PCs, better grades, retention rates, and reputations. Even last year they had to give lots of fall and spring COBs. If this class isn’t sloppy, boosts their GPA significantly, and doesn’t drop, then it will be a good precedent. Keep it up for another year and if great Alabama PNMs continue to decline then yes they will finally be top.

No one is saying the other posts aren’t self ranks too, but the zeta posts outnumber the others like 10 to 1. The volume just makes it kind of obvious.

Zeta got a beautiful and smart pledge class. They just worked it and it worked. Guess is that everyone else made deep cuts too soon- and cling to their friends daughters and local girls - counted their chickens before they hatched. The world is just changing, everything and everyone are knowable online and the houses don’t benefit from their alums doing the choosing. Let the actives do their thing and those are the houses that will thrive and are thriving. I hope the alums in my house learn from this once and for all and leave us to pick our own. But all of them are great this year in my opinion. One of the best years overall for all of us. We are attracting the best out there. RTR
