new row
by: repostingWith what happened this year, it is definitely safe to say that times have changed and there is a changing of the guard. The “old” versus “new” row distinction is broken completely. ZTA, PBP, ADPi (kinda) all did better than several old row houses. The chapters that did the best, did not “favor” any particular area and probably tried to avoid too many from any single area. The composition of the pnm pool is dramatically different than just six years ago. It is smarter, more social, and more insta-savvy and well put together. The traditional in-state favored children are not standing out and also have too many issues with gossip on their reputations.

The old versus new has not been a thing for a long long time for OOS girls (for the most part). It is only a thing with in-state pnms with moms (or friends-o-mom) that were old row and are living off those memories or perceived status. Pretty sad. But those moms are the ones that try to perpetuate the narrative.
