It was failed attempt at recreating a scene from twilight. They have had to apologize for breaking the recruitment rules, will get fined and probably probation.

I liked the fake grass and the plants, it all looked so pretty! The girls I’ve talked to so far have been nice not rude like some other houses. I’ll probably try to pref them because they’re highly ranked but they’re not my #1. I’d be happy to get them but they don’t stand out. Sorry I don’t mean to seem ungrateful I like them but there are two other houses standing out more.

DZ had a rug in their house when I went through and they didn’t get any fines or probation so don’t think anything will happen to Tri delt. It’s also not breaking any rules my rho chi said that there’s not a fine for having something on a floor haha

Tri Delt did in fact have to send an apology email out to every sorority. They were out of budget and violated Panhellenic’s rule of a simple rush.

So not specifically for the turf, just is general? Because gphi also puts down turf for sisterhood and I haven’t heard about them getting in trouble. I think alpha chi did last year too

Fact check: every sorority sends in the designs and layouts for each round to be approved of before rush... Tri Delt’s turf was approved of beforehand soo... yeah. It’s actually hilarious how upset the sororities are over a turf

You are correct about the look book, wrong about their turf being approved. Pan rules for this year prohibited any artificial flooring.

The recruitment rule document is available on the panhellenic website for anyone to read. It is extremely specific and makes no mention of artificial flooring.

Additionally, sororities don’t have to submit their receipts until 6 weeks after rush so panhellenic would not know if tri delt had gone over budget yet.
