too good

by:

Knowing how fantastic our Greek life is, no matter the house, I have been supportive of the "all houses are great and you will find your fit in any house" idea. BUT, after seeing todays GR frenzy about top houses and PNMs discussing dropping for COB because the houses they have left are not good enough for them, I have begun to think a different way.

We should encourage women unhappy with their choices to drop. The "inferior" half of the houses do not need, and should not take, women who think they are better then the women in any house.

The plus side of encouraging dropping now is that such shallow women do not show up on your lawn and in your house for the next four years.

Your house is too good. Each house deserves members who want to join them and is looking for sorority sisterhood, not someone worried about being better than others.

Yes! Get them out. Next year, the same girls will be on here still trying to be better than others by bashing other houses.

Lower houses should cut more. So what if they have to COB. Then they can take time and really get to know PNMs.

The sad thing is that after those hoity-toities drop out of recruitment because they only have "inferior" houses left, they realize that none of the "acceptable" houses want them. Boo Hoo! Then they beg for a bid from those same houses in COB or next year in formal.

I approve if the houses want to laugh in their faces.

This post is right on target. These are the members that often don’t stay a member for four years and are a cancer to your sisterhood.
