This is an odd question. House mothers are live-in employees who are in charge of everything to do with running the physical house. They aren't sorority members and have no say-so in membership so you don't meet them during rush. Again, this is an odd question.

They’re just there to be a mom away from mom and also keep the house safe and running (coordinate with cleaners, caterers, etc). When you meet them is kinda up to you

the house mom in my house was actually in a diff sorority. I assume this is pretty common since it would be hard to find an alumna of your sorority in the area who has the right qualifications.
