sorority reputations

alpha chi- very grade focused, involved, not the most social, seen as uptight.
alpha gam- religious, grade focused, not the most social.
adpi- not really known for anything, good grades, decent involvement, more traditional of New Row, but they’re just there
alpha phi- was known for looks, suffered last year because of HB, grades very low but getting better, party
aopi- not really known for anything, very OOS
chi o- very Deep South focused, good grades, involved but some are more chill/party
dg- very competitive with Greek competitions, anchor splash is big every year so philanthropic
tri Delt- great at rushing, bigger OOS push the past few years, raise a lot of $ for St. Jude but don’t have a “type” and fade into the background after rush
dz- not really sure tbh but I’ve liked the ones I’ve met. Extremely OOS, low grades
gphi- trying to be the new aphi, very OOS, low GPA
kd- tend to seem exclusive/standoffish, southern money, don’t participate in anything but they’re fun
kkg-big party girls/fun, grades go back and forth, could also up involvement
theta- the smart girls of New Row, not great at rushing, not in the machine
pi phi- cute-ish but not as looks focused as zeta, decent grades, kind of decent at everything not really one type, again just there
phi mu- standoffish, not involved in their own philanthropy, okay grades and they’re pretty
sigma kappa- too soon to say
zeta- very looks focused, if Instagram isn’t your life don’t bother, party girls, really bad retention rates, but very aesthetic and their social media is great

If you were to generalize sororities focuses on academics vs partying/
Academics: xo, axo, theta, dg, adpi, aoii pi phi
Partying: kappa, kd, zta, gphi, aphi ddd phimu dz

In all houses though there’s girls that focus more on partying vs academics.

Alpha chi is decribed as “uptight”.

These stereotypes are just garbage!

Actually not a dg I gave a critique to my own house so here’s one for DG, they come off as really try hard and they’re also kind of forgettable when they’re no competition going on.

Someone just needs to post out all the houses with this line besides each: with between 300-400 sisters, you will find partners, studies, wild girls, Christians, conservatives, socialites, grounded girls, athletes and every other type in each group.

This is a pretty reliable break down.

What someone needs to post is the reputation of your house won’t change you.

There are sl-tty girls who use dr-gs in academic houses and 4.0 gpa girls in hard majors in party houses, some who like the energy of being around party girls but are home bodies and shy themselves , etc.

Have to agree there are some trends, but no one is really a perfect stereotype.
