if i got invited back to 2 houses that i didn't have a rec for for skit day, is it possible that i won't get a bid because of that?

You don't know that you don't have recs at those houses.
An alum may have sent one on you without you knowing it. Or the chapter may have requested one on you weeks ago.
There's nothing you can do about it now, so relax and enjoy the parties.

If you Maximize your options you will have a bid on Bid Day. I know they explained that during orientation.
