I have heard the stereotype that they are holy rollers and bible thumpers. I loved talking with them and never got this impression. I was extremely impressed. Is this just a false stereotype being spread?

This is just sad that you want to come on here and downplay Christianity at agd to get pledges. This is what is wrong with agd and why people say 1/2 real and 1/2 awful.

Exactly. AGD is mixed. You end up either being a judged or a judgee but there is judgement asserted over members. They and axo are the most religious but every house has many religious members. This is the Bible Belt after-all.

I never said that and I think they can be both. There is a difference between being very religious and forcing your beliefs upon others. I never got any feeling anything was being pushed on me so I was just curious.

Well actives are not allowed to bring up religion (or alcohol, or boys, etc) at rush so of course you wouldn’t feel that way

Not supposed to talk about religion so that would be why. AGD is incredibly religious and, in my opinion, very overrated. They're definitely a strong set of girls with a unique set of characteristics that make them awesome for some PNMs, I just personally don't understand the hype, especially on this website. Anyway, yeah. They're super religious. If that's your jam then you may have found your place! If not, you may want to look elsewhere

Just wait until later in the week. There is a group of like 15 in each grade who are really fun but the rest are very very religious and low key
