I’m sure that’s what all the potential new members ate thinking when they go through recruitment....oh please let me be in a house that can beat everyone in the gpa category! Yes college is about doing well in school, but I bet being in a house with a high gpa is not even in the top 10 reasons someone chooses a sorority. You must be a alpha gam because you don’t have much to offer other than a high gpa and a legacy of once being great but now only being mid tier at best.

Old row is old news in a new world. Most OR houses are desperately trying to keep up with the new faces of Alabama. They are sitting right now trying to figure out how to appeal and attract the best of Bama 2019 without alienating their old alums who are pushing for stale legacies and friends of friends who might be average. The girls in the houses know that they have to change and bring in a balance of bright, beautiful OOS/OOR girls and are trying to do so while staying relevant back in MB or Mobile. The houses that are successfully attracting and retaining new blood are threatening the old establishment. You will see more OR infighting and put downs on here in the next few days as the alums try to protect their little patch of tacky artificial turf known as OR. All the while, the rest of the houses are busy putting together a recruitment that will pull in another 120+ awesome PNMs over the next weeks and continue to change and evolve these outdated rankings.

Never once have I heard anyone in my OR house refer to or say the words Old Row when describing anything to do with our chapter or any other.

This is so dumb. No one talks like that.

KD is boring saying “First Circle” etc but everyone just knows they are ridiculous and that’s all they have.

Only “NR” moms worry about all this. It’s just not a thing.

The term “Old Row” is newer than grandmas and most mamas. It’s just so dumb that people even say it on here. Or New Row. Equally dumb to have a chip on your shoulder about it.
