What exactly do you mean by “connections”

If a PNM is not connected to any houses at Bama then no one knows or cares about her family's wealth.

A lot of the OR sororities focus on girls with “connections.” This is mainly from their Alabama towns, so it’s not necessarily that these people are rich or particularly sophisticated. It’s just that there are already girls from their hometown in the house, or their mom or cousin, etc were in this house. Different towns in state tend to send their girls to certain OR houses. But which house(s) depends on which town you are from.

Since the houses here are so big, the “rich girls” (to the extent there are any) are not a majority in any house. There are a few wealthy girls in every house. A lot more middle class/upper middle class girls. Some of the very richest girls from far OOS end up in NR houses. You just never know.

Alabama isn’t particularly a rich kid school, although there are rich people here. If you are worried about that, you are coming to the wrong school.

There are wealthy families represented in every house. No one house has all the wealthy kids. And if you’re rushing to find a house to hang with rich kids then you’re pathetic.
