social circles

by:

Who tend to run in the same social circles in your opinion (looking for just who tends to hang around with who, rather than some sort of ranking)?

From stalking insta (mostly notice when actives are posting with pics of girls from other sororities or are commenting on a post by an active from a different), it looks like this to me:

AOII/ADPi/DG
PBP/ZTA
KAT/DG
DZ/APhi/GPhi
ZTA/APhi/PMU
KKG/DDD/PMU
AXO/AGD/XO
KKG/KD/XO

This active says that you are wrong and have no idea what you are talking about. I’m in OR and have friends in a lot of different houses, both OR and NR. And - gasp- girls who are not Greek!

You make friends in your dorm, your classes, your other activities, etc. you may have friends from your hometown, and they will introduce you to their new friends.

Houses here are huge and there are all types of girls in every house. Most of us are not that cliquey!
Why would we can’t to limit ourselves to hanging out with girls in only a couple of other houses?

Freshmen year - you spend time mostly with ”your house” and some time with dorm floor friends in various houses.

If you live in the house, the above kind of holds. Otherwise.....

Sophomore year - time split between friends from your house and apartment roommates - often two different house represented sometimes three in apartments. And the mix can be kind of random, especially for OOS and OOR.

Junior year - spend more time with Apartment roommates and girls from clubs/ activities/and your major as you start to see the same people in your classes.

Senior year - time with a small close knit group from the house with a broader social network outside the house. Socialize more at bars than frats/strats and with friends in your network beyond the “house”.
