No. Not everyone wears designer. If I recommend you shop somewhere more sophisticated for recruitment. It’s not a time for bodycon, low cut, cheap looking dresses.

It does not matter what your car brand is. It’s more important if you can carry on conversations, are involved and interesting.

girl you’re so fine! we’re all coming from different places and backgrounds and coming from a predominantly middle class small town that i lived in my whole life, rush was a rude awakening when i saw girls literally switching their hermes bracelets to match their dress and stacking the yurman bracelets high. i literally didn’t even know the brands before i came here, a lot of my dresses i rewore from events in high school. don’t let what’s going on around you make you feel inferior, i got invites back to “top” houses while wearing absolutely nothing designer or boutique, just being myself. if it would help you feel a little more “in place”, an understandable worry during rush when you’re literally looking for a community to fit into, lulus has some really basic dresses online and a good selection for a good price that sit right at the style and standard that’s typical for rush, many actives will likely have something from lulus in their closet for rush week. as long as your dresses are appropriate (not the bodycon/low cut that f21 usually markets) you’ll be perfectly fine and i promise there are way too many of y’all for us to be researching where you got your outfit from. seriously, wear whatever will make you most comfortable so that your personality can shine!
