politics in the houses
by: rollllllll tideeeeeeI was just wondering if certain houses are more conservative or liberal here? I want to assume that the more religious houses (ie AXO, XO, and AGD) are more republican but I’m not sure if there’s any houses that appear to be more liberal. Also since we’re in the south I expect most of the houses to be at least somewhat republican.

Don’t mean to dredge up old news, but some of the more crazy “political” stuff has come from new row lately.
It’s Bama - mostly conservative to moderate. And in general, it isn’t broadcast or a topic of conversation.
You could be accepted as a Biden Democrat in most places - may have to bite your tongue once in awhile.
Not much sympathy/acceptance for the extreme left though.

I’m in a house with one of the highest OOR rates, and it’s unusual to have an outspoken conservative member in the chapter, I can only think of two off the top of my head. Definitely majority liberal. Politics doesn’t come up too often though so it’s not like there are any issues. Some more traditionally southern houses definitely swing the other way.

Birmingham isn’t as conservative as Alabama in general.
Would expect a more moderate tone in OR houses with a strong Birmingham influence.
