bama admittance rates
by: CGMI was doing some research last night and found out that I may only have a 34% chance of getting in with a 3.5gpa and 26 ACT score. Do they take into account class course schedule, type of high school , and all the extras. I have to admit I am a little freaked out by this. I have a mix of regular and AP classes. Lots of science and math classes in fact more then I need per the universities requirements.

Bama was my dream school but throughout highschool I struggled! It was terrifying for me when applying bc they really only look at your gpa and text scores, whereas other schools ask for your senior schedule and an essay. My piece of advice would be to apply early!!!!!!!! Since it is rolling admission it is much easier to get in earlier rather than later!! I got in with a 2.8 & 1040 on my SAT - I took 2 APs and 2 college courses prior my senior year!!! if I did it!!! you can do it!! good luck!!!

You won't easily get in, but you may not be cut for your grades. Big difference. In some houses a 3.5 isn't that amazing.
