If you have under a 3.5, no matter gorgeous and fun you are, there is a 95% you’re getting dropped by all of Old Row before pref. That 5% left are sisters of girls in-house or mega legacies or from very powerful families.
Being followed by a bunch of girls from the same house isn’t really a big deal. They are following hundreds of other girls too, so don’t get your hopes up. It’s better than no one following you, but by no means does it guarantee you will make it through to pref.
You have to remember there are thousands of girls rushing and most of them have high GPAs, good looks, and stellar resumes. You are a little fish in a very big pond.

If the girl is just looking to get into some house , not a top house whatever that means.....still a rush killer?

If a girl is just looking to get in "some house, not a top house", below a 3.3 won't necessarily be a rush killer. The high GPA houses and ones who want higher than they have will drop you but there are still houses that would keep you.

She has a bunch (maybe 20-30 girls) from one particular one though and the actual sorority itself—I thought it was kind of weird but she seems to think it means something good.
