help kd legacy

If both my grandmothers are a legacy to kd, and I'm attractive will i get into this sorority. my parents are pressuring me to rush it but I'm scared it won't be the right house for me.

kd's are extremely clique and not really super into their looks, most just care about clothes and being a fake christian

Legacy status will not help you with KD. And there are LOTS of attractive pnm's. You will end up where you are wanted.

this must be a joke... a double leg to KD is practically a signed bid card. if you have the grades, you’ll likely end up with KD til the end.

Maybe, if the grandmothers are both from Bama and known to contribute to the chapter. There's legacy and then there's connected legacy. Difference.

Just go with the sorority you will feel most at home with. I am a Kappa Delta from a different state and l am a legacy to ChiO, Adphi (Auburn both from Auburn) and a Delta Zeta - we all went to the house where we felt loved and valued- l will keep you in prayer that God gives you the house that makes your college experience the most beautiful and uplifting. i was an in-house legacy for kappa + out of house legacy for chi o and gamma phi. didn't end up in any of those, but ended up where i belong! :)

My grandma was a theta somewhere else and my moms sorority isn’t at UA so I honestly felt pressure at theta during rush but I ended up where I belong and you will too!

What is this pressure for a legacy to follow in their ancestors footsteps?
Do you think mom/daughter discussions are going to involve secret signs for the rest of your lives? Do you think your aunt, grandmother, older sister, cousins are withholding secret family information from you, that you have to go to the same house as them in order to feel part of the family?

It is your life, find the house you feel comfortable in and just enjoy yourself.

You obviously aren't involved in such a situation. It is only natural for a family member to want their daughter/sister/granddaughter to share their letters and vice/versa. Should it override what's best for the legacy? No. But it is very special when it's the right thing and it happens.
