Aight, I think it’s about time for our annual “this is how it works” post. All y’all thinkin you can waltz in here and choose your house are WRONG. The house meets you and votes whether or not you get invited back to the next round. You don’t drop houses. You thank your lucky stars anyone invited you back to another party.

Basically, you're right. PNMs don't "drop" sororities. The most control they have is marking their preferences after third round. That's pretty much it.
