dz machine?

by:

I heard that DZ isn’t voting the way the machine says. Are they trying to get out of the machine? I heard their machine rep isn’t telling their people in SGA how to vote? Why?

DZ is bottom tier because they actually are bottom tier. OOS girls who think fighting against a system, that exists for their benefit, is telling of how idiotic this move is.

The machine exists to promote Greeks on campus and within our school’s administration. At a time where greek life is being threatened all across the country, how could you be so stupid as to fight against the literal greek political party? No one in the machine is going around lynching and beating up people, they’re a bunch of nerds in SGA who take themselves seriously (albeit, a bit too much).

There are so many members in our house that are ashamed of our machine affiliation and would love to see our house leave too. But, we all see the terrible way Machine reps beat down Theta every chance they ge, so unless other houses leave with us, we csn't go.

I’ve never been convinced theta’s lack of affiliation has much to do with their struggles in recent years. Their members still manage to pull some pretty good leadership positions without the extra help. They had some internal issues a few years ago, and getting a new house dead last put them way behind the other houses in recruitment and that just snowballed.

I do agree though that if a house like alpha chi or chi o left the machine it would make it so much easier for other houses to follow.
