major
by: PNMI read on here that some houses cut you if you’re in a harder major. Is that true?
#3 by: Yep
The “smart” houses have girls in all majors. So they will note its “not true”.
But show up as a unknown with a 28 ACT and a 3.75 HS GPA and say “I’m pre med” - you WILL get passed over in comparison to the equivalent in “early education”.
Because, odds are you aren’t going to support their GPA average.

This is what everyone is trying to say. Having a hard major will NOT affect your chances whatsoever IF you have a strong high school gpa and good standardized test scores. If you come in with a 3.5 or below gpa and a 25 act and say you’re an aerospace engineering major you will probably be dropped compared to a girl who has a 3.3 24 act but is a communications major. If you have a 3.7 gpa and a 30 act and say you’re an aerospace engineering major they will know you take your education seriously, are a serious student, and won’t let your college gpa drop dangerously low. Also.. do not lie about your major lol you should never lie about anything that could be easily proven to be a lie during recruitment. They probably won’t find out you’re lying, but if they do it’s a bad look

This just isn’t true. We don’t care what your major is and you’re probably going to change it four times anyway.
