old vs new row
by: 1234What's the difference between Old and New Row fraternities? Is it basically In-State with connections vs Non In State?

Old Row: KA, DKE, SAE, Phi Delt, EN, Phi Gam
--- The first and oldest fraternities on campus. \n\n\n\n\nNew Row: Pi Kapp, ATO, Pike, LXA, ZBT, OX, DX, EX, KE, DTD
---These were the second wave of fraternities to arrive on campus in the earlier 1900s. Beta came along in the 1960s and were for some reason included in being called "New Row" as well. Same with Sig Ep.
