pre determined cuts

I keep hearing that all the top sorority houses already have the girls they want picked out. Is that true?

This is bad advice. I will tell you that every sorority has a handful of "star girls" picked out that the chapter absolutely "must" have. These are girls that are so key that members would cry if they didn't extend these girls a bid. They consist of best friends from hometowns and sisters of current members mostly. HOWEVER do not worry about this because a pledge class consists of around 100 girls (unless it's kappa, they can't even make quota) and these girls make up maybe 10% of this final number AT MAXIMUM. GOODLUCK with rush :)
