comparing pi phi and ddd
by: helpBased off preview weekend and spring teas Pi Phi and DDD are my favorite sororities. Can anyone please give me a rundown of their general reputation within the greek community. I like both of them so much but I want to make sure that the houses I list as my top choices each day of recruitment have good reps around campus.

Both are good and can be hard to get into, but DDD is one if the most, if not the most, difficult sorority to get into. This is because not only is DDD 1st Circle but Old Row too so they are about as traditional as it gets. Recs, your family, where you are from and your reputation need to be top notch. If you are from up north it probably ain't happening, because their alum are all rich, southern belles and have a lot of influence. If you are fom the south, you at least have that going for you. I'm not as fimilar with pi phi because I'm in an old row fraternity and we mostly do stuff with the 1st circle and old row sororities but from what I hear they are good. Pi phi has a nice house too. DDD prob has the nicest house on campus though. I heard it is between $10-15 million. Anyways, both sororities have cool girls.

no true old row guy would be on this site...i doubt most of them even know about it and care about it...if you do you are a pretty big tool and probably belong in a new row fraternity. and you basically just called your sister hot then? Inbreds...does not surprise me...DDD's look like it.

I recommend that you complete the formal rush process prior to making any decisions. Just keep an open mind during rush and follow you heart. This website is anonymous and no one has any idea who is posting or if they even attend UA, so obviously it is not going to be 100% accurate. Be yourself during rush and trust the rush process. It actually works amazingly well and you will end up where you are meant to be. Don't limit yourself to just 2 sororities before recruitment! It is an honor to be in any sorority at UA. ^ I had two favorites before rush started and you know what? I ended up hating them so much I ranked them last the first day. Trust me, extending chances to houses that may not be a good fit is going to make you miserable. You have to see if you actually like them first. And I would say as a side note, neither of these houses are really all that similar, so it really depends on your personality.

Actually I am an "old row guy" and my sister is a DDD. You are obviously a chick who is "not attractive" to old row.
