white after labor day?

by: Question

My mom is a big follower of the - you don't wear white after Labor Day - rule. Should I stay away from packing white in my wardrobe or is that just one of those old rules that people don't follow?

I definitely don't follow that, but I usually wear whatever I want anyway. I don't think anyone is going to come up to you if you're wearing a white shirt in October and chew you out. It's a rule I feel like more moms follow than kids (my mom is the same way). I especially don't think a sister would get mad at you for your color choice as long as it looks cute on you

Rush is before Labor Day , so it's ok. But after Labor Day it's tacky!

I’m sorry there’s laughing in my head. Women's rights are an essential part of the overall human rights agenda.
