Yes. A lot of girls actually pay for their own. I use loans to pay for mine. Each house is a little different price but most between 2000-4000 / semester. They are required to tell you during rush

just being honest no there are not. It's way too expensive. For the love of God DO NOT USE LOAN MONEY FOR GREEK LIFE!!!!!!!! This site makes being Greek seem like the most important in the world here but it is not. There is another thread about affording extras that is more reasonable

Honestly no, the cost makes it very difficult. The only girl I know of who is using loans for dues is also on full scholarship, so it’s her only cost. Otherwise probably not a great idea.

I took a year off to work and stuff. I made enough to pay for 3 years and a half worth of dues but tbh...it is too expensive and you won’t be able to afford it by having a part time job.

I paid for majority of my dues myself this year, with the saved up money I had from part time jobs, birthdays, Christmas, and taxes. I had a loan taken out on my school though and when we switched from the 1000$+ meal plan to Greek 55 which is way cheaper we got a check back for that loan both semesters so I ended up using that towards my dues, and my parents kinda made up for whatever cost was left that I couldn’t pay for. Don’t takeout a loan though if you already have loans taken out for college. It’s not worth it

Taking a loan out for Greek life is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard of. If you want to be in Greek life go somewhere where it is cheaper
