far oos, no connections, no recs ——-> top tier

I’m from a state that is considered far oos. I had no connections or rec letters and I pledged an old row, top tier sorority. Be the best you can be ladies and you’ll end up in the right place. Mine happened to be Old Row 💋💅🏽.

I will admit that MANY far oos girls without connections end up in old row sororities, particularly AXO/DDD/KKG, particularly if they are wealthy or come from notably nice areas. But I highly doubt any of them have zero recs.

I know girls in both Alpha Chi and Kappa from far OOS that had no connections and they told me they had no recs, so it’s possible. However, each girl is the quintessential type for their house. I think actives probably just met them and realized they needed to be there. This probably doesn’t happen that often.

YES! You have to network and be outgoing in order to pledge old row regardless of where you're from.
