midwest struggling with recs

I'm struggling to get recs to some of the top houses because they aren't as popular in my area.
If I have a 3.8+ GPA, only high school involvement is one sport, can hold a good convo, but only one or maybe even no recs for each, what are my chances with the top houses?

Certain houses will only take you if you have a rec for every house. It also boosts your score on the computer if you have a lot of recs. I HIGHLY recommend getting at least one rec for every house and multiple recs for houses you know you want going into rush.

Love to help but so sick of comments from PNMs about “top” houses. You aren’t even here yet, how do you know what the top houses are? Seriously, are you deciding that off of this stupid website? Get a rec for every house and then decide which sororities you like AFTER you actually meet people in those sororities. My “top” and your “top” are probably very different so please keep an open mind.
