sophomore fall rush

by: Sophomore

Do sophomores do well in fall rush? I'm thinking of rushing next year but I'm worried I won't get many houses back because I'm not an incoming freshman and I'm OOS. I did do really well academically this past semester but will I be dropped by a lot of houses because I'm not a freshman & because I'm OOS?

Few houses actually consider sophomores. Mostly new row. That would be your biggest hit.
Your second biggest hit would be not being a legacy [i'm assuming you aren't a legacy or you would have rushed as a freshman]
The OOS depends, if you are from a big area like Atlanta then it won't affect your chances much [if any], but if you are from an area that doesn't have many bama girls [idk say Iowa] then yeah it'll affect it a bit.

The best thing you can do is try to get to know girls. Find out which houses rush sophomores, and try to get to know those girls. Sure they prefer freshman, but the one advantage you have is you are on campus now and make friends with those girls before rush.
