How would y'all rank the houses based on how hard it is to get a bid from each. ive ordered all the relevants below:
hardest: Phi Mu, KKG, DDD, OR
pretty hard: ZTA, APhi, Pi Phi
Easiest: AOTT, Alpha Gam, GPhi

I would say alpha gam is still pretty hard to get a bid to. It’s kind of like zeta— for them all you need is looks so if you have them you’re in but if you don’t you’re definitely out. For alpha gam I think they are still fixated on keeping it southern.
Alpha phi... I think a few years ago they would be a harder bid based solely on the reason for zeta above but they definitely slipped this past year. Lots of unusual bids which meant they didn’t have many options.
Gphi may need to be moved up depending how they do this rush.

It is not hard to get a bid from alpha phi or pi phi just go ahead and drop them down a spot. ADPI is much trickier in that they go for a very cute and well rounded pnm that has great grades

Can I just clarify that even the "easiest" houses to get a bid to at Bama are probably comparable to mid-range of difficulty at most other schools. We have no safety net houses that ask everyone back; all of them are picky and you really have to have the GPA and involvement.

Painful but the last post is spot on. Alabama has turned into a Greek system with smart girls and terrifyingly dumb girls. Both in OR and NR. If you have great grades you will make certain OR or NR houses. For the Crimson Edge PNMs your only chances for OR are Kappa Delta, Kappa, and DDD if you have a big in. Phi Mu will most likely drop you unless you look like a model and your grades are. Average. NR your only options are Zeta, Alpha Phi, Delta Zeta,, Pi Phi, and Gamma Phi. And Zeta will not touch you if you aren’t beautiful. They will take bad grades but not if you aren’t California hot. Theta doesn’t wanted grades but they are so stuck with poor return rates. With their newhousethey Should be able to drop a lot more pnms with mediocre grades.

Alpha Phi (with the exception of this year) and Zeta only take girls who are pretty in a certain type of way. There are really gorgeous girls that get dropped because they may be pretty but it's not in the way that fits the house image

Crimson Edge = academic support for those with borderline HS grades and test scores

Kappa has had a top 4 and top 6 NM class since they changed their entering GPA to 3.33. KD has been above the APA since 2015. Only way you’re getting into those houses are with grades AND the social skills those houses require.

The Panhellenic grades just came out and it pretty much supports this and it looks like Kappa and KD rushed with gpa in mind this time. The new pledge classes are pretty spot on in terms of everything said above. Looks like the pledge classes by top grades went in order AGD, AXO, XO, DG, KD, Kappa, Phi Mu. DDD and ADPI were really hurt by their new members gpas, while they were both 5th which is great it is solely because of their pledge classes having lower gpas. Count on both DDD and ADPI correcting that in rush next year.
