Does anyone have any experience with establishing residency for in-state tuition purposes?
#2by: Not Likely
It's almost unheard of, otherwise everyone would do it. There are very few situations where it's considered. I know some schools have a process you can follow to change your status, but at Bama once you're admitted as an OOS student I think it's even harder to have your status changed.

First off it's hard, almost impossible. Also unfair to ba residents. I only know of one person who got away with it. She went to a private hs 30 miles into GA and her mom and grandmother (who actually lived about 30 miles the other way into Alabama) have the same name and her senior year they just made it look like, they moved to Alabama but she kept going to school 60 miles away in GA.
If you're this worried about it then you def can't afford to go Greek here
