in or out?

If I went to high school in Tennessee but I moved to Alabama over the summer and I get in state tuition and my recs are from Alabama alumni then will the sororities consider me as in state or out of state?

It shouldn't matter, because they all pledge out of state PNMs. I would imagine that they will look at the location of the high school you graduated from.

The advantage of being in state is that you're from a recognizable location (MB for example) and the girls know you. I think you're missing the point by moving here and getting local recs who may not even know you well. In state isn't like getting a box checked next to your name where all of a sudden we extend you an invite for the next party. We'd rather your recs were from people that really know you and can tell us why we HAVE to have you.
