It depends on the house. Each house has their own "rush secrets." No matter what, you shouldn't look that much in to it because mistakes happen SO much. I think I can honestly say that my house never really had a perfect party, meaning things never went the way they should from the active side of rush. The most simple mistake made by one person can have a domino effect to the rest of the party. I didn't think about mistakes happening from the PNM stand point but you would be surprised how little happenings can make a big difference as a whole. Just be yourself and focus on the conversation itself because either way you have no control of who you talk to, where you are in the house, what time you leave, etc.

Different things mean different things. It depends on the house. For example, say it is a HUGE deal for the president to come talk to you during IWT. If she does come talk to you, it may be because you're on their target bid day list... but she could have also mixed you up with someone else, or it could've been completely random. Say she doesn't come talk to you, it doesn't mean you aren't a target girl for that house... she may have not been able to find you during the party, or she ran out of time because of other conversations, or she just wasn't planning to speak to you. There are so many possibilities to reasons for good and bad things happening to you during rush. My biggest advice is to not read into anything. There are houses I went to on IWT and things that are assumed "good," happened to me and I was dropped by them next round so seriously, don't read into it.
