best badge/pin? worst badge/pin?

Purely superficial post.

If you had to pick a sorority to join solely based off the appearance of their badge, who would you pick? Who wouldn't you pick? I love my groups badge, but there are others I love even more. And some I think are boring and dull.

I really love badges that are in the shape of the group's symbol. The Kappa key, the PiPhi arrow, the Theta kite, and the DG anchor come to mind. I really love the look of the Gamma Phi badge too, though I think the Gamma in the letters looks weird. I'm not a fan of badges that are stacked letters, like AOPi, APhi, XO, and AGD. I am also not a fan off the DZ badge, even though they brag it is "voted most beautiful badge" (where, again?). I really like the Phi Mu quatrefoil too, very unique.

I just call them pins.

I really like Pi Phi's arrow but don't like the Kappa Key - it just doesn't look super... professional? I guess? Like it's a little too obvious. DG's anchor is cute and I love the harp detailing on AXO. Always thought KD's was pretty badass because of the dagger.

Honestly, the most badass badge imo is tri sigma, not a chapter at Bama, but it's a black triangle with a sigma in each corner and a skull in the middle. Creepy yet very badass.

Some NPC hqs call them badges, so a new member might just call it that because that’s what their new member meetings taught them. Not a big deal.

My faves are Chi O, Kappa, Pi Phi, Phi Mu, KD, tri sigma, DG, and Tri Delta!

A pin is anything with a pointy end that sticks into fabric, like something you collect and trade or use to hold something together. A badge is an emblem that represents membership, achievement, an office held, and the like. Pin is the informal, common term but officially and correctly they are sorority badges, not pins.
