alpha phi - resist!

I am calling on all Alpha Phis to reject the recruitment strategies designed and overseen by Alpha Phi International Fraternity. I am calling for the end of the sanctioned hazing of our members, the blatant disregard for our values, and taking membership selection decisions out of the handles of our collegiate members. The "clip board" ladies need to go home.
For those who require more information, please go to Reddit and search for Alpha Phi Michigan where you will find an anonymous expose written by a former collegiate recruitment chair. She gives a very detailed and accurate description of the recruitment strategy as outlined by the women at the very top of Alpha Phi. It is currently being used on this campus too.
I call on the collegians of Alpha Phi to read the document fo themselves and ASK QUESTIONS. You likely have no idea that most of this is going on. You need to speak up.
This is a warning to the ladies of Alpha Phi International. No more stupid skits at regional conference. We don't care to watch you re-live your glory days. You need to step up to the microphone and own what is said in this expose and then tell us how you are changing it. If you don't, I promise you, we will be changing you at the next convention.

I can barely get what I need to get done and stay on top of MY sorority's activities, much less obsess over someone else. No, I am not an Alpha Phi...it's just not my concern. The little research I did have multiple verifications by members of A Phi. Perhaps you should do some research before you call out other people...

yeah, i was inclined to dismiss this entirely until i saw the discussion about it there. there are several people who have worked with several different chapters verifying it, and most of them don’t seem like the type to lie or make things up.

It’s interesting that a poster on that GC thread (could be a troll, but maybe not) is arguing that there can be no downside to alpha phi picking members based solely on attractiveness because all women rushing are perfectly well rounded. Maybe that could work at a highly selective school, but we’ve all seen the consequences of them using that method here. Weird to die on that hill when one of alpha phi’s biggest chapters doesn’t even back it up.

PNMs, read this document. You will get some insider insight into what this organization is really all about....superficial and cut throat. They clearly don't care about one another! Who throws their own sisters/legacies/friends under the bus for the sake of frat bros thinking they are "hot". Disgusting and disloyal.

This year A Phi is a bottom house. They lost most of their girls and had to take a lot of random girls to fill their house. Then of course there were the scandals (racial scandal and video debacle). Not saying they can't ever come back from this but it's going to take a while.

I have a friend who is in APhi at her school and they've been the bottom of the bottom year after year and interestingly enough she said a lot of girls were still encouraged to follow the things that were detailed on GC and in that reddit thread. Yikes. You would think that being so low on the totem pole they'd consider other things like how the girls fared academically or if they were involved in other orgs, or if they had good recs, or idk if they were a decent human being. But nope even then it was just recruit this ideal image of what APhi should be and that ideal image centered a great deal around looks.

I know of another school where Alpha Phi isnt considered bottom but take alot of girls other sororities consider reputation risks. My friend said she wasnt impressed with them and crossed them off her list day one.
