missed out on fraternity rush this semester

So I know we are not done with the semester, but when to start fraternity rushing for Spring or next Fall? I am a current OOS freshman this year and missed out on rushing this semester (started too late) but would still like to join a fraternity. When should I start contacting rush chairs? Do I need to wait until new chairs are selected for the houses (if so, when does that happen)? Is it better to join in Spring or in the fall as a Sophomore?

Spring pledgeship isn't really a thing for most of the houses here ,although some house might, it really depends. Get to know guys in different fraternities wherever you can and see if you can get into rush events in the spring so you can pledge next fall.

Some of the smaller houses rush in the Spring. Honestly it's more fun rushing in the Fall. All houses are looking for quality guys and it doesn't matter if you are a Sophomore. I'd definitely recommend rushing as it has been one of the best experiences I've had on campus.
