reputaions
by: how it beOkay so I’m gonna try to be as real as I can be based on my experience here. So yes every single sorority has a stereotype and the general “rankings” are known around campus. I am in a sorority and yes when I meet girls in another sorority I subconsciously think of their reputation for like a split second as I know a lot of other girls do with me. But let me tell you I have not met a single person at this school who has judged a person based on what house they are in. Yes, there are stereotypes that are always gonna be at every school but no one judges if they like someone based on that. Almost every time you find out that the girls are nothing like their stupid little reps. So yeah the “reps” might actually be a thing but does anyone that actually goes to this school really care? Not even a little.

I think about the rep for a split second too but I'd say 95% of the time that I meet a girl from a sorority with a "rep", she proves that reputation completely wrong and does not fit the stereotype at all. I've met AXOs who go out all the time and like to party, Alpha Phi's who care a lot about school, AOPis who have super unique and bold personalities, etc. Stereotypes are such an illusion, especially with this many girls in each house.
