I know schools up north where chapters like SDT and aephi are top tier, it honestly depends on the school. Like yeah some chapters are stronger nationally but not always. I have a friend in theta phi alpha at Cincinnati and it’s top tier there but probably most people have never heard of it. Another friend of mine is in SDT at Miami and it’s top there. And at my school, AXO was bottom even though it’s strong nationally

I'm a phi mu at a smaller school where it's a top chapter, but most of the other chapters in our region are mid or bottom tier. It varies a lot school by school

Kappa and phi mu are bottom tier houses . Ddd is the top of the middle.
At UF the top three are Adpi, Kd and Zeta. Not everyone can be a top house. Beauty and Brains at Florida. Sorry Bama fans but you are not that smart.

But is the University of Florida the best school in the country? Is it even the best school in all of the south? Is it the best ranked school for every major/area of study? 5 university of california system schools are ranked above UF for 2019 US news reports rankings, should we ask UC Davis what the "best" sororities are? You say those three chapters are top at florida and they have "beauty and brains" but none of those chapters are even top 5 in grades. Alabama is consistently ranked the #1 greek life school in America. Even then, that doesn't mean that every chapter at Alabama is the best chapter of its sorority. There's more than one way to be "the best."

Zeta and DDD are tops at the University of Central Florida, followed by KD then ADPi. UCF is the largest university in the country, but not a very large Greek system.

As an Aggie let me tell you Kappa isn’t top at A&M anymore, more like middle. Zta, ddd, Pi phi, chi o are the top houses

Vandy is like UF, Tulane, and Emory -- in the South but not very Southern. Greeks tend to be divided between Northern houses and Southern houses. When it comes to the top-tier sororities, Kappa leans Northern, Theta leans Southern, and DDD is a mix.

You can judge houses by school and maybe even somewhat by state. BUT there is no national ranking that holds up. And even if you concocted something off of greek rank, it isn't accurate. Most of the activity on greek rank is alums who are worried about the reputation of their houses. So they tend to rank houses according to how things used to be.
SO GIVE IT UP NOW AND GET BACK TO PARTYING.

Phi Mu will barely be #4 at Southern Miss, maybe even passed up by DG. Tri-Delt, KD and Chi O are tops.
