It was an off year for Phi Mu and DDD.

KD, XO and AGD all did very well.

Kappa and AXO did average.

Seems to me pm and axo did great like usual. The only reason kd xo and others are in here trying to self rank is because, for the first time in a couple of years, they actually hung on to some of their targets who could have gone axo or pm but decided not to—unlike last year. Not losing Top targets to the top houses is not the same as surpassing them.

To prove how forgettable they are, AGD didn’t even make the list.

I agree that it's silly to rank anyone based on a pledge class that just joined a week ago, and that this post is dumb.

That said, the Northeast is ALL about who you know. The big name schools have supper clubs that you don't get into unless you have the right name, address, or know all the right people. Same goes with certain clubs and other organizations. You won't even get a job in certain businesses unless you are basically a legacy.

Right or wrong, it's no different than what goes on here in the fraternity and sorority world. Holding them up as an example of anything isn't exactly accurate.

Okay lol I’m from the Northeast (a very nice and respected section of it) and I don’t understand why you’re coming on this site raving about it. 1. This post has NOTHING literally ZERO to do with the northeast, you made it about north vs south because you wanted to 2. I honestly don’t understand what’s so fricken good about the northeast that people on this site can’t seem to stop comparing bama with the caliber of the schools there. I went to a 45k a year private prep school, one of the best in the northeast, and 80% of my graduating class went to colleges FAR oos unless they were one of the very few accepted into an ivy. There are good colleges EVERYWHERE in the U.S. and unless you’re attending an Ivy League school, there’s no dramatic perk in going to a good college in the northeast when you could find those in any part of the nation. I chose to come to Bama over other very well respected colleges because I wanted the EXPERIENCE, that’s why a lot of people come here, it’s not just scholarship money, something most people coming from oos, including myself, don’t even have. thanks. Did you hear that on here? You obviously weren't at UA. I'm not saying they "won" recruitment (I think that's a stupid thing, because no one actually knows who houses are looking at, unless they are in that house), but AXO put on a great Recruitment, and almost every PNM I know would have been happy to end up on their lawn, even if they weren't devastated when they were invited back.

Same here. Lots of girls loved them. I know two girls who actually CRIED when they weren't on their list for Pref. They dumped me after IWTs, probably because of grades.

Most of the girls loved other houses too, but to say no one was talking about them is a lie. You probably should have made more friends than apparently the one or two people you hung out with during recruitment.

My floor in Tut wasn’t talking about AXO or KD. Mine was all Kappa, XO and DDD. So stop trying to make 10 girls opinions seem like it was “EVERYONE.”
