Anyone else surprised by where they pledged? Judging by their instagrams, KD and Phi Mu were all over them, and XO to an extent. I was surprised to hear they got dropped by some just bc of the insta hype. Also was surprised CC went NR, especially ADPi, but awesome for them/her. What really surprised me though, was that MM went kappa? I mean it’s a good house but everyone knows her family is pretty religious. I guess I just assumed she’d go Alpha Chi or Chi O or something less... party? (Not bashing Kappa, just didn’t see her there.)

Maybe Kappa wanted to take girls who had less of a party vibe so they could change their rep. Maybe this girl actually wants to party more in college since she'll be on her own for the first time. Maybe she'll be a non-party girl in a stereotypically party house, because as we all know, in a house with ~400 members there are bound to be some girls who party, some who only study, some who are religious, some who aren't, etc. Maybe she just really loved their colors. Who knows honestly?

It’s the best she could do. Bama Old Row houses are picky and want friendly types that work well in group settings.

One of her things was that other pnms would not want to go where she went, so most of Old Row passed. Maybe a life lesson for her in this

CC was cut from all of Old Row because of some sketchy stuff she did in high school. Questionable bed fellows.
MM was cut by most of Old Row except Kappa because they thought they wanted an Insta influencer. But then instead of promoting boutique clothes on her page, she started pushing microwaved pancakes in a mug. The rest of Old Row breathed a sigh of release for cutting her and Kappa cringed.

People on gr are increasingly just fans of youtubers and the insta famous. So yeah, they don’t go here. They think sororities here would naturally want to get girls active on those platforms,

There’s 400 girls in a house. To pass up one you like just because of one girl is plain stupid and immature.
EVERY house takes a QR here and there, and Tri Delt took a bucket full last year and mostly people didn’t say anything. (No hate their pc 17 ended up being stellar and good for them!!)
I honestly think ADPi and Kappa made big improvements in pledge classes and y’all are going to tear them down just because of MM and CC.
I’m not either one of those houses, several other houses did well, (KD, Tri Delt, Zeta, etc.) but this is ridiculous.
Stop hating on these houses because of those girls, stop hating on Pi Phi bc of MW (who somehow still gets hate for no reason) and leave this poor KB girl alone.
