super cuts
by: HelpOkay so many people in my group are down to 2-6 houses and we are all worried because won’t the next cut be even worse. I don’t think I will even have any left and I have good grades. This cut seemed really brutal and so many people were crying. I’m so worried I will get a call from my rho chi this is just terrible

Even if you have 7 parties today, you can only have 2 tomorrow. Because of this chapters may go further down their lists to fill their invites for tomorrow than they have had to the first two rounds of cuts, you should be fine and at least one house on your card tomorrow. If you keep an open mind, it will be okay!

Its NOT you, it is the process. Understand, houses have to get from over 2000 down to around 120ish.
The first cut is actually hard but very important. You lose half the field and can begin focusing on the houses that will really matter.
We tried to warn you about cuts. They really hurt. BUT you MUST quickly forget the houses that let you go and focus on the houses that WANT YOU. EVERY house made hundreds of cuts today. Bear in mind, the houses that invite you back are the ones that really want YOU!
