AOTT just got named as the top sorority in the country, and they have the largest number of chapters in North America, and they just rebranding all of their information without changing who they are and their history. They are tops at UT, Georgia, FSU, MTSU, Columbia, Purdue, UTM, Auburn, OU, Cal Poly, WKU, EKU, Texas A & M, etc. What a ridiculous thing to say. I also disagree about the comments about Phi Mu. They also have a strong national presence.
I think the top national groups are AOTT, DDD, KKG, Phi Mu, ADTT, DG, KD, and Chi O. Just my opinion.

Chi Omega has at least 185 active chapters, KD around 170 and Alpha Phi in the 170 range too.
AOPi is itty bitty comparatively and changed their brand logo more than 18 months ago. Y’all need to catch up.
And AOPi is not “tops” at Georgia — do you think this is 1985?

144 collegiate chapters ?

To be entirely accurate, Chi O has 180 collegiate chapters according to THEIR national website.

@Stop - I’m an Aopi (not at UA). Aopi isn’t old row top at Uga but they’re new row top there. I wouldn’t say they’re the top nationally by any means, but they do have some really good chapters (as well as some bad of course).

I will make this easier. Everyone all the way from the top of this list through AXiD is solid nationally, all have good and bad chapters but all strong in their own ways. Everyone after AXiD has less of a national presence, which is completely fine and they still have a lot to offer their girls, just not as nationally common. That's really it

I am in AOPi at another school and I think AoPi as a national sorority is growing, but I wouldn't call it "the top sorority." First of all I don't think there really is a top sorority who is perfect at every school, and AOII might have the most active chapters (I think like 190 right?) but there are lots of sororities that are very close behind.
