Can someone honestly describe to me what this school considers a top or middle sorority? I’m rushing in fall and so I’ve been looking in to all of the sororities in social media and I can honestly say based on that there aren’t many red flags for me. Y’all all seem great!! What’s wrong with Gphi? they looked like sweet girls. SDT girls seem nice but.... I looked at the bid day pics and they had like 30 girls compared to everyone else’s 100+. So I am confused... do they do recruitment with everyone else or? I’d like to give every house a fair look at least.

This post is from 2013 so that explains the gphi comment. They used to be by far the bottom house and struggled to make quota. Ranks are based on historical reputation, grades, involvement, and success during rush. Appearance factors in a lot less than it does at some other schools.

Not all of the oldest sororities are Old Row, such as DZ and ZTA. Also, PiPhi and AOPi are great - both are much better than Kappa; and Theta keeps getting better and better. Really, any sorority except SDT and GPhi would be great to join, depending on what you are looking for and where you feel at home.
