Plan on spending toward the top of the range. New houses are a little more expensive, but a lot of the others are planning new houses or major renovations. And don't feel like you have to get every T shirt and every photo.

That is not true, the newer built houses do not have higher dues than the older facilities. Plus, all of the chapters are doing massive renovations or are rebuilding.

Seriously, newer houses don't have higher fees than the older houses? Wow, whose paying for those new houses? So DDD is paying the exact same as Theta? I don't think so...... Fees go up once the new house is completed but while under construction they stay the same. The sororities are very secretive of their fees which is why they give you a range. I guess they figure if you have to ask, you can't afford.....Older houses with no building in the near future will be at the lower end of the range. Old row does cost more than new row. I know for a fact that one sorority can cost as much as $5k a year over others. It's not rocket science so you can imagine which are the most expensive and which are the least expensive. On the low end plan on $5k on the high end, plan on $10k, even more if you're into status and David Yurman.

Yes newer houses will cost more after they are finished, but also know this, if you choose a house because they aren't rebuilding because you think it will be cheaper, keep in mind that they will be rebuilding or renovating at some point. If all the other houses are, plan on the rest because every one has to "keep up with the jones's" but, with bigger houses, there will be bigger PCs and thusly, more sisters to share the expenses!
