What are the thoughts on a lower ACT score with a higher GPA score
My gpa is great but we did have a lot of ways to add points so it was more of grade inflation situation. I know lots of school inflate grades so do they look at ACT to help determine that.

The ACT goes right on the transcript info and it is hard to unsee.
All the 4.6 over-inflated should have a 30 but we still wouldn't care if that 4.6 had a 25 score.
The ones on the bubble are the 3.7's with a 23 or below.
Anything below a 22 is not a bad test taker they will drags any houses gpa down once they start real school

Can't speak for others, but the first night of cuts we have a list of every PNM in front of us and after our advisors tell us who we have to cut (bad recs, rep issues, whatever), we can say a girl to remove and if no one objects then she's gone. Literally all we do is go down the list and call out any low ACT score or GPA. First to go are ACTs under 22 and GPA under 3. The only way a girl gets thru with something like that is if she is a huge legacy that we can't lose. The next night we'll start cutting anything under 24 or 3.3-4, and we will unless someone who spoke to them speaks up and says they're worth keeping. We have to cut literally a thousand girls and grades is where it all starts.
