how to decide?

by: PNM

How do we decide what parties to attend next weekend? How come all of the sororities didn't send out invites? And who usually has the best spring parties?

They haven't done these parties but a year or two, so nobody's got a reputation as to "best spring parties."
Listen, these are tea parties, or at the most, doing something together like bowling. It's not a throw-down, get-barfin'-drunk band party.

Go to them ALL, if you can, if only for 15 or 20 minutes! If you didn't get an invitation, they may not know your name.

Yeah, go to these parties and get barfin' drunk! That will REALLY impress the sororities!

Yes, let's tell all the PNMs that. Way to be helpful.

Anyway, definitely spend time at the parties you got invited to attend. The sororities know that you have several to go to, and they understand that you can't spend the full two hours there. However, if you feel like you're really clicking with a house, stay a little while longer to show that you are interested.

If I didn't get N invitation but went to Preview does that mean I shouldn't go through rush? Did every house send them out?

Of course it doesn't mean that. Go through recruitment, but seriously. Try to relax.

Don't worry about it. Not every sorority is having parties, and not getting an invite is not a reflection on you. Just go to rush with an open mind and be yourself.

Which houses aren't having parties? And why? Does this reflect how they participate in rush?
