pomping secret?

Unless I'm unaware to new changes, no one should be pomping outside of their house. If they get caught their house can be disqualified.

In general though, people SHOULD be secretive about their house's pomp. The biggest thing is that you shouldn't tell anyone the design. Not that it's likely for another house to steal your design, but it could happen. Most if not all houses are very strict about pomping and what you can and can't say about it. My best advice is for you to just do what you need to do and keep your mouth closed.

Pomping sucks. The end result is great but it could be done on a much smaller scale and still be amazing. The time is ridiculous and unfair when so many get out of it for other activities (dancing? Sports...) it is really unfair to those who have other clubs and obligations but can't get out of it. I failed a test during pomping last year and struggled to recover and we have already had girls in tears this year who are headed out of town on UA events or have 3 exams and are not being given a break. I think some of those really rich girls could subcontract the job out to GDIs for $20 a bag and still be under the fine amt. of the houses. All for a decoration that will be up a few days.
